Trainee Employment Support Worker/ Recruitment Consultants

Your roles will be to support service users at the service to access employment opportunities, networking with local employers, entrepreneurs, volunteer organisations and the Job Centre Plus.
The key responsibilities of the Employment Support Worker are to;
Empower participants to improve their quality of life by supporting service users into employment to increase their independence and social integration.
Provide relevant support in accordance to the participant employment needs through support planning, risk and needs assessments and through one to one and group sessions.
Motivate service users to participate in support to obtain employment using coaching and motivational interview techniques.
Enable participant to establish a job plan by providing one to one job journey planning on an appointment and informal/ drop in basis.
Enable participant to focus on increasing their skills for employment by delivering the Stepping Forwards training course.
Supporting participant to return to work by arranging three way meetings with employers and participant.
Developing close working relationships with local employers and the Job Centre Plus to:
Develop an understanding of the local job market.
Brokerage work experience placements to increase opportunities for participant
Trainee Recruitment Consultants facilitate the hiring process by building relationships with clients and candidates, providing a service by meeting the specific requirements of both parties. Being a phone based sales role, excellent communication skills are essential. Additionally, the ability to gain large amounts of information contributes towards the successful placement.
Day-to-Day Activities of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant:
Selling, negotiating, persuading candidates and clients on daily basis
Working new leads to generate additional business from clients
Gathering detailed job specs from clients
Consultatively matching candidates to specific job requirements
Advertising and attracting candidates
Meeting clients on regular basis, registering and compliance.
